'Five Women: One Story' is a 180° VR documentary commissioned by the Home Office, following the rise of the #MeToo movement and controversy surrounding the tragic death of Sarah Everard. The main goal of this project was to provide a safe production environment for a group of five women from varying socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds to enable them to share their stories and lived experiences of every day misogyny, to help educate young people and specifically young impressionable males on the consequences of certain actions. This would be shown nationwide in many different environments on multiple synchronised VR headsets.

BAFTA award winning VR specialist, Catherine Allen took the helm as director, and Stephen Lake known for his work on the critically acclaimed Netflix documentary, Roll Red Roll, came on board as Executive Producer.

I took lead in the camera department as Director of Photography and also cut the project, working with an Assistant Editor, two Producers, Cameraperson and Location Sound Recordists to deliver what was envisioned by the client. Above is a small excerpt from the opening sequence...
